Beach Apartment with Pool, VNGaia

A lovely and traditional 2 bedroom-apartment on the ground floor of a 2-family house in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the South bank of the Douro river.
The apartment with its private entrance is a charming place with its old-fashioned kitchen, that in spite not having a dishwasher, is adequately equipped to prepare your meals.
One bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe and the other has 2 single beds and a beautiful vintage console. Both bedrooms face the backyard and the house’s pool. There is a bathroom with walk-in shower just renovated 2019.
The living and dining room is not very big, modestly but charmingly decorated; there is a TV and Video and many books if you like reading. The house is heated in the winter.
There is in the backyard a big unheated pool and support facilities, such as a bathroom, a small lounge area and the barbecue and table. In the back building is the washing machine and from here the access to the little farm in the back
with its vegetables, chickens and rabbits.
It is located some 5 minutes walking from the beach and to get into Porto you can either take a bus or the boat down by Afurada to cross the river.
If you come by car, there is parking place and by car to the city center it is about 10 minutes.
